Vetline's specialized at-home Telehealth consultations

Drawing on extensive experience, we provide personalized consultations for a range of common pet health challenges, all from the comfort of your home. Our goal is to empower pet owners with knowledge and effective, practical solutions.

Digestive health

Receive expert guidance for common gastrointestinal issues, such as upset stomach and diarrhea, to help your pet feel better swiftly. After your consultation, you can conveniently order recommended products from Vetline's online pharmacy, diet, and wellness center.

Skin conditions, ear infections

Targeted strategies designed to address skin issues such as itching, chewing, scooting, and allergies provide lasting relief for your pet. Our comprehensive management of chronic skin conditions and allergies ensures careful attention to detail. With careful, individualized follow up, many of these chronic skin and ear infections can continue to be managed at home and avoid hospital visits.  All recommended products can be ordered at the time of the consultation and delivered directly to your home.  Because most of these cases necessitate regular follow-ups it is essential to be following up with the same doctor who is familiar with the case.  One of the most common frustrations expressed by pet owners is the lack of continuity in care when their pet’s condition is not monitored by the same veterinarian. At Vetline, we prioritize consistency by ensuring all follow-up consultations are conducted with the same clinician.

Chronic medical conditions

In today's fast-paced corporate veterinary landscape, veterinarians, including specialists, face increasing pressure to manage heavy caseloads within tight time constraints. This challenge often limits the time available for meaningful communication between doctors and clients.

Clients of Vetline are encouraged to submit their pet's complete medical records, including history, diagnostic results, and treatment plans. These records are thoroughly reviewed ahead of the consultation appointment to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the patient's needs and past pertinent history.

Tailored wellness plans

Every pet is unique, and so are Vetline's plans. Our doctor will collaborate with you, thoroughly reviewing your pet's history and lifestyle to create totally integrative health and wellness plans specifically designed for their individual needs.

Pre-visit anti-anxiety medications

Pre-visitation consultations, along with the use of medications when necessary, can significantly ease the stress of future hospital visits. Embracing a fear-free practice is essential. For instance, I once treated a patient with congestive heart failure. Over the years, the medical records revealed only limited physical exams due to the patient's anxiety and fear resulting in attempting to bite the veterinarian. As a result, a heart murmur went undetected for years. If this patient had been given anti-anxiety medication, it might have facilitated a thorough physical exam, potentially identifying their heart condition before it progressed to congestive heart failure.

Behavioral support

Discover compassionate guidance for behavioral challenges such as anxiety, noise phobia, and fear of veterinary visits, helping to create a more relaxed pet.  All calming medications and supplements can be conveniently shipped directly to your home before your visit or the anticipated car ride.  During your consultation, we will also explore behavior modification techniques that may eliminate the need for medication.

Quality of life and euthanasia consultation

Deciding to proceed with euthanasia can be a deeply emotional experience for clients, often driven by concerns about their pet's quality of life. To provide the support and comfort they deserve, I conduct consultations in the privacy of their home rather than in a busy practice environment. This not only creates a more compassionate setting but also allows me to assess the patient in their natural surroundings.
